In Loving Memory of Dave Stevens Owner
"Navy" Dave Stevens was the principle owner and the driving force behind the Stevens Family Top Fuel Dragster. It is however, a family affair as you will soon see.
Dave has been involved with Drag Racing since the very beginning, helping his father, Paul Stevens, with his record setting Top Fuel Dragster. Paul has passed on, but is with the team in spirit and this effort is dedicated to him.
Dave has driven, built and worked with everything from Top Fuel Dragsters to Fuel Altereds, Funny Cars to a Hudson powered D/Dragster, been a NHRA track manager and involved in every aspect of Drag Racing. Retired from the U.S. Navy, this was his dream and he welcomed the challenge.
Rex Stevens Crew Chief
Rex "The Rocket" Stevens is the Crew Chief and Chief Mechanic on the car. Like his brother, he learned from one of the best, his father, Paul Stevens.
He has owned, tuned, driven and built record setting race cars in virtually all the top classes of NHRA Drag Racing. His most recent ride has been the Worlds Fastest Hot Rod, Dawson's Demon Fuel Coupe and the Speed Sport IV restoration of a unique rear engine Nostalgia Top Fuel Dragster.
Rex will upgrade his NHRA license in this car.

Stevens Family Racing is proud to announce they have teamed up with Rick Macedo Racing and Oll Tools to begin a program in NHRA Championship Drag Racing. Stevens Family Racing have said they will start with Rick Macedo in Competition Eliminator with hope of stepping up to the Top Fuel car in the foreseeable future.
“We are very happy to bring Rick and Oll tools on board with us, and look forward to a long relationship with Oll Tools” Matt Stevens from Stevens Family Racing. We have been working long and hard to try to put a program together with quality companies like Oll tools, and this is a big step in the right direction. It is a privilege to be teamed up with a superior tool company like Oll tools.
